Hiking Spencer's Butte

For anyone living in Eugene for any length of time Spencer's Butte is one of those sights that becomes so familiar as to be invisible. It makes a good hike (1 or two hours depending on where you start from).
You get a nice view of the city and you usually see some wildlife.
There is something hopeful about any city with a climbable mountain inside city limits.
